Wireless Remote Controlled Power Socket

INTRODUCTION

This control socket allows you to turn the power to your appliances and equipment on and off by remote control. Each socket learns the code from the button/channel on the remote control transmitter that assigned to the socket. You can then turn the power supply to any equipment connected to the socket on or off from a distance, just by pressing a button.

This makes it very simple to turn many pieces of equipment off from a single remote control unit. No more excuses for not turning off the TV, stereo, lamps etc. Once turned off they will use no electricity, so no more standby energy is been wasted. So you have complete flexibility. It will work through walls and ceilings up to a certain distance.

This wireless remote control socket also is an electric socket that the switch is controlled by a radio or other signal and does not require an operator to touch the switch. The remote control device, if electrically operated, uses batteries with a low, safe, voltage. Such a switch avoids the risk of electric shock if a user touches a switch with wet hands, and allows switching apparatus from a location without a wired switch.

For this project, we want to control more than one socket using the remote control. A receiver can control about three power socket and mainly controlled by the transmitter for the switching purpose.
